Here at FurCen.Org, we are dedicated to offering the finest internet services we are capable of.
Listed below are several types of service we provide to our users and any additional information on those services you may need to be aware of.
Unless otherwise noted, all accounts include a web-based form to apply for service. If there is not a link to a sign-up form, we are not currently taking applications for that account type.

All Accounts Include:
- Standard POP3 mailbox and e-mail address w/ aliases and redirection
- Single-user website (see restrictions below based on account type)
- Telnet login for command-line work on your account/site
- SSH (Secure Shell) level 1 and 2 for secure remote login
- FTP access to your home directory and website
- Sub-domain addressing (i.e. username.furcen.org)
- Server-Side Include (SSI/SHTML) website capability
Furry Web Account
Offers free user account and website hosting for furry web content sites. These accounts have restrictions in use and carry special requirements; sites must contain furry content as a majority and link back to the main FurCen.Org page from their index page.

Standard Web Account
Designed for users who want FurCen.Org’s basic services but want to host content other than furry material. Yearly payment basis ($30/year).

MU* Server Account
Online text-based roleplaying games (commonly referred to as MU*s) are hosted here and supported by the admins. Includes one UNIX-based MU* server of the user’s choice plus the standard services above.

Multimedia Web Account
Standard account + more disk space and no restrictions on multimedia/streaming web content. Intended for high-bandwidth media or large files; hosted on our high-speed webserver. Pay monthly ($12) or yearly ($125).

Web Programmer Account
Full CGI development capability and MySQL database access. Increased filespace and high-speed hosting ensure scripts and databases run reliably. We currently support development in Perl, PHP, Python and C/C++; SSL available for secure e-commerce. $50 one-time setup; $20/month or $200/year.

Top-Level Domain Hosting
Registered nameserver host for custom domain names. Tie your domain to a FurCen.Org account or host elsewhere—unlimited free domain updates and free linking to any FurCen.Org account. Multiple TLDs of the same base name at no additional cost per extension. $5/mo or $50/yr.

Limited Server Co-Location
Co-location over our high-bandwidth internet pipelines. Static IP address and limited maximum throughput (~42k/sec) — suitable for low-bandwidth web service or text-based hosting.

Unlimited Server Co-Location
For servers that need screaming network bandwidth, offering on-site hosting for high-bandwidth internet access (84k/sec full-duplex connectivity over a highly reliable network). Ideal for multiplayer gaming servers or high-activity internet servers.

Miscellaneous Services
Newsgroups
At present we do not offer any public newsgroup access, though we intend to carry the fur.* groups once bandwidth improves.
Mailing Lists
We are developing a new mailing-list and message-board package which will be hosted on FurCen.Org when complete. This system will appear as a Primary Affiliate on our main page once online.
Affiliate Membership
Our Affiliate Program allows you to link to and from our site even if we do not host your content on our servers. This results in increased web traffic for our site and yours—join today!
